Solsort
Solsort is Danish for blackbird, the bird that sings first on a spring morning in Copenhagen. We imagined a cargo bike subscription for young families: one monthly fee for the bike, servicing and insurance, so the car can finally go.
A big decision, sold like a small one.
A cargo bike costs as much as a used car, so most families hesitate for months. Rivals compete on specs and price tables. The brief: make subscribing feel as easy as a phone contract, earn trust fast with parents, and book test rides without a sales team.
Calm, honest and a little bit cheeky.
The wordmark swaps the o for a blackbird’s eye: a black disc with a flash of beak orange, which doubles as a sticker for the bikes. Everything else is quiet Danish restraint: off-white, soft black and one park green. The site leads with the monthly price, a test-ride booking and real family stories, with an assistant that answers questions about insurance, kids’ seats and winter tyres.
The system
A wide, confident grotesque for the wordmark and headlines, with plain, roomy body text. Danish design: nothing extra, everything considered.
